How far do we have to go in our search for happiness? And how much time do we have left before it runs out?

We are surrounded by signposts guiding us to a million pleasures. Everything we want is because we think that we will feel better in the having of it. Who did we become in the quest we have set for ourselves? What are we willing to pay? When is it enough? Is there an “enough”? Have any of these things ever really made you happy? How badly do you want to belong? Do you want to be happy or just not alone? We have been told that happiness lies in the future. That we have to be better, to do more, to be more.

But maybe we were wrong.
Maybe it’s closer than we thought.
Maybe it is now.
